As a result of Tim's career as a mechanic in OTR, they moved from Omaha to Gillette, Wyoming, and then to Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Tim grew up around stock car racing with the Christiansen family. This became his passion, that he loved and shared with Andrew and Andrea. They raced while Candy watched and cheered them on. His family was his world.
The last 4 years he was blessed with Shelby Jo, the light of his life. He was the best Papa ever. Just a few weeks ago, after playing "pretty princess", he sported purple nail polish on his hands and feet. He forgot and ventured out to run errands. He didn't realize until he was at the checkout. In Tim's fashion, he said "I was sportin'it. It didn't matter." He was proud. Now he has been blessed with Liam Drew being a doting Papa and the best ever.
Candy and Andrea loved him with all their hearts. They want everyone to know how much they loved him and that he was the best daddy and husband. They will miss him dearly.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents Ted and Pat Christiansen and son Andrew Martin Christiansen.
He is survived by his wife Candace "Candy" Jane Christiansen; daughter Andrea Mae Christiansen; daughter-in-law Betty Jo Christiansen; son-in-law Dion Vigil; grandchildren Shelby Jo and Liam Drew; mother and father-in-law Robert "Bob" and Rosalie "Rosie" Smith; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Candy and family want everyone to know that a service will be held in Rock Springs, Wyoming at a later date to follow the services in Omaha, Nebraska.
In lieu of flowers, memorials requested to the family.
