Deacon Raymond J. Lukowski

February 24, 1953 — October 7, 2021

Deacon Raymond J. Lukowski

Age 68 years, was preceded in death by his parents, Ray S. and Eleanor A. Lukowski. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Sue Lukowski; children and their spouses, Timothy and Mandy Lukowski (grandchildren, Tanner, Emma & Morgan). Scott and Ryen Lukowski (grandson, Ray D.). Siblings; Larry (Stef) Lukowski, Linda Bird, Ann (Denny) Twomey, Lori Menichetti and Dan (Connie) Lukowski. Numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ray will be sorely missed by their devoted cocker spaniel, Kona.

Ordained Permanent Deacon of the Catholic Church on November 4, 2000. Ray practiced quiet deep faith, who deflected recognition or praise. He stressed to God goes the glory and praise. Ray's battle with serious medical issues, over nearly 2 decades, showed his courage and faced life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Ray came out a hero and remained strong to the end, still trying to be for others to the last day. He had a never-ending focus on gratitude for the blessings God continued to pour out upon him.

If you were a part of his life you were aware of his amazing smile and that he loved to laugh. Ray found humor in the most mundane life circumstances. Always did his best, no matter what the task would be.
