Some of the best memories of Valinda revolve around food and on seeing her joy in creating wonderful meals or desserts for the people she loved.
A turning point in the life of Valinda was when she reached out for help alcoholism and drug addiction and checked into Hazelden Treatment Center in Center City, Minnesota.
