Thomas A. Galus, Jr.

Thomas A Galus Jr was born in Omaha Nebraska on August 18, 1947, and died March 18, 2026 in Omaha.

Tom was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam, receiving a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Purple Heart.

He married the love of his life, Delores (Dodie) Campagna on April 22,1967. Together, they raised two sons, Tom and Jamie.

In 2002, he retired from the US Postal Service and was able to devote his time to his very impressive train layout, his Corvette, and his dogs, especially his ride buddy, Mack.

Thomas Galus was preceded in death by his beloved wife Delores (Dodie) Galus. He is survived by his brother James (Laura) Galus, sons Thomas (Rande) Galus and Jamie (Torri) Galus, grandsons Shane (Tanisha) Galus and Marcus Galus, great granddaughter Haisley, nephews, nieces, friends, and his train group.
