Robert passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in Missouri Valley, Iowa, at the age of 72. He was born on Friday, December 12, 1952, in Omaha, Nebraska.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Grace Gohr; his brother, Norman "Bud" Gohr; and his sisters, Sally Johnston and Mary Miller.
He is survived by his nephews David Johnston Sr., Marc Johnston, Jay Johnston, Scott Miller, and Kevin Miller, as well as many other extended family members.
