Richard Hall Paes

Richard Hall Paes was born July 16, 1956 in Lansing, Michigan to Gerald and Joan Paes. He grew up in an Air Force family which allowed him to live in many places including Japan and New York before settling in Papillion, Nebraska in 1966. Rick attended Papillion LaVista High School and graduated in 1975. He then attended Southeast Community College in Hastings where he studied the trade of tool & die, following in his grandpa’s footsteps.

While in college he met Lori Ann Case whom he later married. They had two children, Rick Jr and Sean. Rick had 2 grandsons Mason and Kaden who he loved spending time with and talking about football.

Rick excelled in his trade for over 30 years. He loved the outdoors, gardening, watching Huskers football games, cooking, and enjoying a beer with family & friends. He cherished his time with all of his cats including Zoey & Jo who will stay together and are being well cared for, and Bink who has greeted him in heaven. Rick also took great pride in his fish and aquariums.

Rick was ‘always right’ when sharing his wisdom. His family and friends will miss his sense of humor, his endless love and compassion for others.
