Raymond W. Geiger, 97, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, always generous with his time and talents, and always quick to lend a helping hand. He loved a good time, and you could always find him whistling or humming a tune, dancing with the kids, or relaxing with his favorite beverage. He was an avid Husker fan and enjoyed watching the games with family or friends. Ray was drafted into the army and served his country on the front lines in the Korean War, where he received an accomodation for his exemplary service. Ray was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Nola, and brother Harold Geiger. He is survived by two daughters: Karen (Scott) Taylor of Waukee, IA, and Kathy (Kent) Taylor of Papillion, NE; five grandchildren: Allyson (Ben) Holmes, Jennifer (Albert) Minnis, Kristina (Dan) Schmall, Kelly Taylor and Thomas Taylor; and seven great-grandchildren: Nola, Natalie, Aiden, Seth, Hailey, James and Henry.
