Patricia "Pat" A. Halski

Patricia was born on November 8, 1933 to Mathew and Josephine Pawlusiak. She was the youngest of eight children. In 1955, Pat married Ted Halski and together they raised five children of whom they were very proud. They were married for 39 years before Ted lost his battle with a neurological disease in 1994. Pat lived a full life enjoying the company of family and friends. Over the years, she not only raised five wonderful children, but she also worked at the neighborhood school and took care of and loved on her many grandchildren. Patricia’s faith was an important part of her life. She was very dedicated to her church through devotion and ministry. For many years she washed and ironed the linens for the weekly masses, participated in Perpetual Adoration, was a lifetime member of the Legion of Mary, and was instrumental in organizing and promoting the St. Ann Novena at St. Thomas More Church. Patricia deeply loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she lovingly became known as “Gigi” to her family. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Ted, and granddaughter, Michaela Barry. She is survived by her children Mike Halski; Karen Barry (Tom); Diane Bender; Debbie Smith (Gary); Jim Halski (Debby); 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; best friend and niece, Janet Kawecki; and many nieces and nephews. We are blessed to have so many family and friends who have been beautifully touched by Pat’s life.

While Flowers are appreciated, all cash memorials to the family will be distributed to Pats favorite charities.
