Opal was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years Lawrence McKenzie; daughter Shirley Rychly; great granddaughter Kaydance Irwin; sister Frances Hollis; mother Mildred Horne.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Rippy; son Grady McKenzie; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation to be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Bethany Funeral Home.
Interment to take place at Caldwell Cemetery in Freeny, Mississippi at a later date.
