Michael Mitchell Muckey

Michael was preceded in death by his sister and six brothers Agnes “Muckey” Lantefield, Francis Muckey, James Muckey, Robert Muckey, Patrick Muckey, Howard Muckey and Jerome Muckey.

Michael is survived by his wife Ruth Ann “French” Muckey and children Renee “Muckey” Howard, David Muckey and Christy “Lucas” Muckey. Grandchildren Ron Howard, Karly “Thesing” Howard, Doris Howard, Lia Muckey, Olivia Muckey and great grandchildren Logan Howard, Hudson Howard and Marlon Thomas.

Michael graduated from Omaha South High School in 1961 and joined the U.S. Navy shortly following graduation. After being honorably discharged from the U.S Navy in 1965 Michael moved back to Omaha where he meet his loving wife Ruth Ann in 1966. After completing technical school Michael began working for Methods Hospital in 1968 until he retired in 2008.

Memorial donations may be directed to the First Lutheran Church or the Muckey family.
