MaryAnn Pawlusiak, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, peacefully passed away on May 14, 2025, at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, Nebraska. Born on October 29, 1930, in Omaha, she spent her life nurturing those around her with love and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to have crossed her path.
MaryAnn was a pillar of strength for her family and community. She is survived by her adoring children, Larry Pawlusiak and Cathy Bojanski, who hold her memory close to their hearts. Her legacy continues to thrive through her grandchildren, Ann (Eric), Dan (Susie), and Karen, as well as her great-grandchildren, Mary and Andy, who basked in the warmth of her unconditional love.
Throughout her life, MaryAnn embodied compassion and generosity, attributes that endeared her to many within and beyond her family. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Pat Halski, along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members, all of whom carry forward her spirit. The parish family at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, where she was a devoted member, will always remember her gentle smile and steadfast faith.
MaryAnn was predeceased by her loving parents, John and Ann (Stankiewicz) Wisnieski; her devoted husband, Raymond J. Pawlusiak; her beloved daughter, Sharon Davis; and her sister, Helen, all of whom she missed dearly.
Her life will be celebrated during a series of services held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Omaha, beginning with a visitation on May 18, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Rosary service at 7:00 PM. A mass honoring her life will be held the following day, May 19, at 11:00 AM, concluding with a graveside service at Saint John Cemetery in Bellevue at 12:00 PM.
MaryAnn Pawlusiak's spirit will forever be cherished by her family and friends, who will remember her as a beacon of light, love, and resilience. Her memory will undoubtedly guide and inspire them in the days to come, reminding us all of the simple yet profound joy she brought to life.
