MaryAnn Munchrath

MaryAnn Munchrath, daughter of Joe and Alice Crnkovich, was born on February 25th, 1943 in Omaha, NE. She attended and was confirmed at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Omaha. She attended Notre Dame Academy in Omaha and graduated in 1961. Following high school, MaryAnn directed her compassion of caring for others towards a nursing career. She attended Creighton University and graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in Council Bluffs.  She pursued her nursing at various places. She worked for Mercy hospital and the Red Cross.

She was united in marriage to Roger Munchrath on September 21, 1968.  MaryAnn and Roger were blessed with four children. She decided to step away from her nursing career to devote her time to raising her family.  When her children were older, she took on accounting for her husband’s company which allowed her to be helpful in more ways while still attending to any needs of her family.  MaryAnn was very devoted to her church, many pro-life activities and making time to help others in any fashion. She will be profoundly missed by family and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Joe and Alice Crnkovich, her brother, Jerry Crnkovich.

She is survived by her husband, Roger, their children Jim, Mark(Jennifer,) Rene (Mike) Meier, and Brian; eight grandchildren; her brothers, Joe (Vera)Crnkovich, and Rick (Sally)Crnkovich, sister Joni (Tom) Plambeck, MANY nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
