November 16, 1935 - February 9, 2011 Born in a country house in Davis County, Iowa, Mary was the first of three daughters born to William DeMar Ritz and Anna Pauline Ritz. She graduated from Bloomfield, Iowa in 1954 and went on to become a registered nurse. She was wed to her high school sweetheart, James Nardini, in 1957. She had two children, James born in 1958 and Debra in 1961. Mary took time away from nursing until her children were in high school. While being a great homemaker, she pursued her love of the arts making pottery and painting. She returned to work in the mid 70s when she and her husband separated. She utilized her nursing skills until she officially retired in December of 2010. Mary was an active artist at the First Art Gallery of Olathe, Kansas. Preceded in death by parents William DeMar and Anna Pauline Ritz, sister Dorothy Koffman and her husband John Survived by son James Nardini III, his wife Cindy, and their children Arthur James, and Cole Joseph daughter Debra Wendorf and her husband Richard sister Jeannie Leyda and her husband Max Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
