Survived by husband of 37 years, Timothy P. Langdon; her children, Malinda and Jeremy(Justin) Garrison, Timothy and Michaela Langdon; grandchildren Kennedie (Michaela) Langdon and Daxten (Timothy) Langdon; dogs Ivan Richard and Leo John, and cat Cassius, along with many close friends and family members.
Linda Langdon passed away at home on January 9, 2026. Linda had just turned 70 in August. Born to Kenneth and Emaline Marode in Omaha, Nebraska, on August 15, 1955, Linda had one sibling, an older brother, Mark Marode.
Linda grew up in La Vista, Ne. Throughout her school years, she made many friendships that she kept throughout adulthood. Graduating from Papillion High School in 1972, Linda was a proud member of the Monarch class.
Shortly after graduating, Linda married her first husband, Tony Garrison. Together, they had two children, Malinda and Jeremy Garrison. Although the two would later separate, Linda was blessed with forever having the Garrison family a part of her life.
In 1988, Linda married her second husband, Timothy P. Langdon. Linda was welcomed and embraced with love into the Langdon family. Tim and Linda had two children together, Timothy and Michaela Langdon.
One of Linda's happiest moments was when she became a grandma. Linda had two grandchildren, Kennedie Langdon (Michaela) and Daxten Langdon (Timothy). Being a grandma was her proudest title. Together, they loved going out to eat, having game or movie nights, and never shied away from an impromptu dance party.
Linda was devoted to her family and worshiped her children and grandchildren. Those close to Linda knew her for her big heart and gentle soul. Linda was clever and had impeccable comedic timing that should never be forgotten. She had the ability to get roomfuls roaring with laughter.
Linda was a lifelong dog lover and had many. Each dog was undoubtedly loved as if they were one of Linda's own children, and each adored Linda as much as she did them. There was no question that they were family.
Linda was a natural artist and seamstress, and enjoyed writing. In any craft, Linda had a knack for it. She shared these talents in many ways throughout her life. Music was always a big part of Linda’s life, and she shared her love for music with all of her children.
Throughout her life, Linda had an eye for fashion and modestly expressed herself through clothing, always having a ring on almost every finger.
For twenty-plus years, Linda worked as a laboratory technician. She took great pride in the work she did and truly loved it. Linda would later take some college classes to advance her career.
In the mid 1990’s, Linda survived a Stroke but was unable to return to the work that she had loved for so many years. Linda used her many talents and started crafting for work. She had booths in boutiques and did many craft shows. Linda had many “best-selling” items, everything made with love and care. No matter what Linda was doing, she worked hard and had pride in it.
Later in life, Linda worked in child care. She worked at Kids Network through Millard Public Schools for about ten years. Up until her passing, she worked at Bright From the Start Daycare. This was a perfect fit for Linda. At Bright From the Start, Linda's class was elementary school-aged children, the “Kool Kats”. By no surprise, Linda did this job with all her heart and was so proud to be a part of the kids' daily life. It did not take long for the kids to find a way to Linda’s heart.
Linda was dearly loved by so many people and will be greatly missed. The love and memories will be shared for many, many years to come.
