Kelly Oliveri, born October 3, 1955, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, at home in hospice care, following a courageous four-year battle with multiple myeloma and a subsequent cancer diagnosis. Her strength, love, and unwavering devotion to her family defined her life and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Kelly was the beloved wife of John Oliveri and the proud mother of Jarrod Lamp, Melanie Hoffman “Barrett Hoffman” James Oliveri, and Brian Oliveri. Family was the center of her world, and she devoted her life to nurturing and supporting those she loved.
She was an incredibly proud grandmother to Ethen Lamp, Angelina Hiracheta, Hayley Hiracheta, Makenna Lamp ,Bre Hoffman, Madison Bottjen, Caiden Hiracheta,Maddox Seitz, Aubree Oliveri, Irie Suyyweeney, Paisley Hoffman, Press Sweeney, Harper Hoffman, and Juniper Oliveri. Her grandchildren brought her immense joy, and she never missed an opportunity to express how proud she was of each of them.
Kelly was the eldest of six children born to Patricia Teare and John Teare, and a loving sister to Pat Teare, Melanie Ericson, Mike Teare, Candace Doering, and Brett Teare.
She is also lovingly remembered by Annaleese Seitz, Amy Burke, Jaime Sinclair, and Allison Smith, all of whom she deeply appreciated for their love and support.
Throughout her illness, Kelly showed remarkable resilience and courage. Even during the most difficult moments, her love for her family remained constant and powerful.
She was a devoted wife for 41 years, and loved her children to no end. She spent all of her free time shuffling kids to and from sports and activities. Her family was her entire world.
She was a medic in the USAF and loved to help people. She spent her later years in sales before she retired.
Her favorite activities were spending time with her grandchildren, going to the casino and playing bingo.
Her presence, kindness, and pride in her family will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
Visitation will be held on March 16, 2026, at 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at Bethany Funeral Home in La Vista, Nebraska.
A procession will follow for a military burial at Omaha National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
Following the burial, family and friends are invited to gather for a luncheon and time of remembrance at 1202 Edgewood Blvd, Papillion, Nebraska.
Kelly will be remembered as a woman of deep love, quiet strength, and enduring devotion to her family.
Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, the love she shared will remain with her family forever.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
