Preceded in death by wife Phyllis J.; parents William and Catherine; brother Bill Whitney;sisters Margie Grutel and Karen Luehring Survived by daughters Mary Alice (Todd) Wade, Connie Whitney (Mike Dropinski), Linda (Jim) Kay; grandchildren Daniel Whitney, Alex and Whitney Reeves, Jake and Jason Kay; great grandchildren Alexander Whitney and Gavin Whitney; brothers and sisters Pat Hearon, Jim Whitney, Harvey Whitney, Kathy Carey, Dan Whitney, Bob Whitney, Bev Rodgers, Rick Whitney; numerous other family and friendsVisitation with family at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (48th and Grover St) Tuesday, April 15th, after 4:00 p.m. with Vigil Service 6:00 p.m. at the church. Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 16th, 9:30 a.m. St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials will be directed by the family. Military honors by VFW Post 2503 Honor Guard.
