George R. Swiercek,

age 86 years, of Omaha, Nebraska Preceded in death by parents George Sr. and Catherine; brothers Bernard (Irene), Richard, and Don; sisters Helen (Frank) Grosky, Jean (Ed) Kalina, and Gussie (Ben) Urzendowski. Survived by children Roxanne (Mike) Rusco, Dawn Swiercek, Dan (Julie) Swiercek, Jeanne Swiercek; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters Olga (Lou) Kremke, Loretta (Osborn) Nedved, Virginia Swierczek; sister-in-law Bernadette Swiercek; many nieces and nephews; special friend Fay Mace. Visitation Thursday, January 12th, after 10:00 a.m. followed by Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials requested to the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, or the American Heart Association.
