This beautiful, beloved, and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, nieceand friend took the hand of Jesus and went home to Heaven on Tuesday, August 20th. She left a legacy of beauty and perfection...of herself, her family, her home and her faith. Her life was a blessing...her lovebeyond measure...and her memory a lasting treasure. Preceded in death by husband Ed; son Don; sister Rose Bartman; brother Ray Gunia. Survived by sons Gary and Rick; son and daughter-in-law Greg and Julie; grandchildren Chad (Jordan), Christopher, Nicole, Marissa, Natasha, Nadia and Andrew; great grandsons Byron and Brock; sisters Helen (Norbert) Bojanski, Irene (Roger) Sprick, Rita Sedlacek; brothers John Gunia and Ed Gunia; sisters-in-law Tillie Gunia, Mabel Podkovich, Joy Ann Usasz; aunts Rose Gunia, Regina Fuksa, Rita Stracke; numerous nieces and nephews Visitation Sunday, August 25th, noon - 4:00 p.m. with Vigil Service 3:00 p.m. at the Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Monday, August 26th, 9:45 a.m. Bethany Funeral Home Chapel to Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church (41st and J Streets) for 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Saint John Cemetery.
