Dennis was born to Jesse and Mildred Robinson in Marysville CA. His father was in the Army so Dennis lived for a time in Germany and then various places across the U.S, settling in Nebraska and spending most of his life there. His two oldest children Brian and Jennifer, were born in Nebraska, as was his step-daughter Lindsay. His son, Richard, was born in Tennessee. Dennis spent a great deal of his career working for Mangelsen's in Omaha and Wangs, Intl. in Memphis TN. Later in life he got his CDL license and drove for First Student and Moby. Dennis was heavily involved in sports. He played baseball and soccer, going on to coach and ref soccer, as well. All of his children participated in sports (soccer, football, baseball, basketball and volleyball). He also loved to garden and would spend hours in the yard and later in the little plot at their townhome. He kept the family pets, Kirby and Wylie, always by his side. Dennis served on the board of the Monarch Grove Homeowner's Association, he taught CCD at St. Peter and Paul's in Omaha and helped with the fish fry as a parishioner at St. Columbkille's in Papillion. But best of all, Dennis loved spending time with family. Whether it be swimming in the pool, driving to look at Christmas lights or traveling, there was always something to do with in-laws, children and grand children. He was "Papa" to some and "Grandpa" to others, but he loved spending time with all of them, whenever he could. His family will miss him dearly, but are comforted that he is at peace.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mildred Robinson, and his brothers Rick and Terry. He is succeeded by his children Brian (Amy), Jennifer Adema (Kyle), Richard (Kim), Lindsay Parsons (Nick), along with his sister, Sandra Paine of Washington state. And also by his grandchildren, Logan, Noah, Tyler, Allison, Evelyn, Judah, Richie, Esther, Cyprian, Lucy and Julia and his great-grandchildren, Archer and Adalynn.
