Deacon Andrew J. "Andy" Sommer,

age 66 years, of Omaha, Nebraska. Preceded in death by granddaughter Mallory Allen; father Andy Sommer, Sr.; and sister Mary Sommer. Survived by wife Chris; children Matt (Misty) Sommer, Molly (Matt) Allen, Mark (Heidi) Sommer; grandchildren Jaycee, Casidee, Toree, Rylee, Hayden, Abigail, Corey, Seth and Ryan; mother Yvonne Ruff; brothers Leonard, John, Hank and Bernie Sommer; sisters Stevie Polley and Rita Sommer; numerous other relatives and friends including his golfing buddies and fellow steamfitters. Visitation at Holy Ghost Catholic Church (52nd and Q Streets) Thursday, March 31st, after 5:00 p.m.with Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, April 1st, 10:30 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed by the family.
