Daniel "Dan" Caveye

Daniel “Dan” “DC” Caveye, 39, passed away on October 6, 2026. He was born on July 24, 1987.

Dan was a caring person with a genuine love for people and animals. His kindness and compassion touched the lives of those around him, and he will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

Dan is survived by his grandmothers, Mary Ann Caveye and Kay Ingraham; parents, Paula and Rick Caveye; sisters, Emily (Jon) Leeder and Jenny (Grant) Tesnohlidek; niece, Kaylee; and nephews, Grayson, Logan and Easton.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Caveye, Fred Kleffman and George Ingraham.

Dan will be remembered for his caring heart, his compassion for animals, and the kindness he showed to those around him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th from 5:00–7:00 p.m., with a brief service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Bethany Funeral Home 8201 Harrison Street, LaVista, NE
