Cathy was preceded in death by her father Frank; sister Judy; and brother Ricky

She is survived by mother Mary Simmer; husband Thomas; sons Joshua Kluthe and Matthew Brown; daughters Isabella (Greg) Foral, Shamara (Jason) Thompson, and Shandy (Jeff) Ward; granddaughter and Cathy's shining star Ava "Bear"; brother Charles; many nieces, nephews, and friends
