Carol Marie Mariniello

Carol Marie Marinello, 82, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of August 14, 2025 at Brookstone Village in Omaha, Nebraska. Born on October 5, 1942, in Glendale, California, Carol dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband of 59 years, Peter, and their three children.

Carol grew up in southern California and attended Saint Dominick’s Catholic School in Eagle Rock, CA, and Holy Family High School, Glendale, California. Later in life she pursued a nursing career earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. Carol’s favorite hobbies included sewing, quilting, needle point, cooking, reading, exercising, and spending time with her growing family. Carol also enjoyed volunteering for Stephen’s Ministry and the Saint Vincent de Paul Society through Saint Columbkille.

She is survived by her three children Mary McGahan, Dominick Mariniello Robert Mariniello, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her sister Cathy Lytle. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Peter, two daughters Jennifer and Suzanne, and parents Robert and Lillian White.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Saint Vincent de Paul Society, Saint Columbkille Church.
